MOKIHINUI is the Maori name for the river that cuts through the Old Ghost Road on the West Coast of New Zealand.
Pronounced "Mock·ah·newey" the MOKIHINUI is a Trail bike ideal for days out in Wales or Scotland Trail Centres. It has a low top tube to protect your crown jewels or nether regions, when you are throwing it off things. It is a good climber and descender, making it perfect for riding in the Peaks as well as Trail Centres. The Mokihinui was designed around the dropper post and both 27.5x3.0” or 29x2.4” tyres. It comes with 29” wheels and will fit 29x2.8” tyres

MATERIAL:
The MOKIHINUI is Titanium 3AL 2.5V. Titanium is the wonder metal. Light, springy and corrosion resistant, titanium frames will last for years. Titanium is difficult to machine and form, however good factories invest in their staff and the machinery. I have selected one of the best Titanium factories in China. They are close to the Titanium Mills and can hydro form the tubes, CNC solid
Titanium inhouse and have skilled welders.

ROCKnROLLOUT DROPOUTS
RocknRollout dropouts allows the frame to do 3 things:
• Rear hanger can be replaced if a derailleur is damaged.
• Splits the frame for belt drive.
• Adjusts the wheelbase for belt/chain tensioning.
OLSEN RocknRollout dropouts can be replaced for 142 or 135mm. 142 is a stable internal hub gear format for Kindernay and Rohloff. 135 has a large second hand market with Rohloff and Alfine-11.
HEAD TUBE 44mm
SHIS 44/44 has become a "standard" - so lets keep things simple. This is simple and allows for Tapered Carbon fork steerers with ZS44/EC44 and is backward compatible with straight steerers with either a crown
reducer or a ZS44/ZS44 headset. SHIS44/44 headset standard is also compatible with angle adjust headsets.
WIDE BOTTOM BRACKET
T47x92mm BB: I chose T47 as it resolves issues with PF92. A 92mm shell allows the chainstays to be wider, providing more tyre clearance. 92mm also means that the chainstays can be welded wider on the frame, making the bottom braket area stiffer for belt drive
use. I know this might look like another bottom bracket standard, however this is versatile and backward compatible. FSA and others do adaptors with their versions of T47 and it is available in SRAMs DUB. Wheels MFG do a T47x24mm INBOARD BB which works with Shimano and Middleburn chainsets.
