Singletrack & Trail riding
There is a reason why our SWAN & RAM Trail bikes are so popular... they are FUN...
The concept behind the SWAN & RAM was to fit two tyre formats. Plus sized 27.5x3.0" tyres for grip and 29x2.4" for speed. Both frames have low Top Tube geometries for dropper posts. This frame is versatile enough to run a 130mm fork with 29er wheels or a 150mm fork with 27.5 wheels. Both Bikes are fun to throw around, making it ideal for days out on the local trails. It is a good climber and descender, making it perfect for riding in the Peaks as well as Trail Centres.
Trail MTB upto 27.5x3.0"
The concept behind the SWAN was to have a design that works with 2 tyre formats... Plus sized 27.5x3.0" tyres for grip and 29x2.4" for speed. This geometry was developed around the dropper post and Pinion Gearbox, however we do a derailleur, single speed version as well for riding around the trails with your friends.
Also available as a Pinion Gearbox version...
Enduro TRail upto 29x2.8 tyres
The RAM is similar to the SWAN, however it is designed for bigger 150mm travel forks and fits 148mm Boost hubs... This frame has the same versatility, fitting 2 tyre sizes 27.5+ and 29x2.8". This frame has Trail geometry with 66deg head angle, long low top tube, dropper seatpost (geometry) and Rocker Split Dropouts for belt drive.
We put as much mud clearance as possible on the RAM. The RAM frame is designed to take to the mountains and on a train to Scotland. Either to Edinburgh for access to Pebbles and Innerleithen or Glasgow for access to Corrour and Kirroughtree.
This frame was designed for extreme destinations that break components. You can even get to Les Gets by train Via Cluses.
With 150mm fork, the RAM would be perfect for doing the Port Du Soleil (chairlift summer holiday)
