Titanium Cross Country Bike
Imagine if 29er wheels were available during Tomac's era - what kind of bike would he have designed and ridden? Well, wonder no more! Our team has taken that idea and brought it to life. Tomac had all the top-of-the-line components, however he did not have 29er wheels. 29ers brought more benefits to Cross Country riding, including, being able to roll over larger objects, increased traction on rough terrain, and faster rolling speeds.
Introducing The Ginger Fox - the smart and fast 29er bike that is a tribute to what Tomac's bike would have been if 29er wheels were available during his time. This bike is designed with all the modern features and component technologies that were not available during Tomac's era. Equipped with a tapered integral headset, The Ginger Fox can handle lighter and stiffer forks, making it faster and more efficient on rough terrain. The bike also features internal cable routing for a cleaner look and better cable management, including the ability to use wireless systems.
One of the unique features of The Ginger Fox is its massive 54mm bottom bracket, which can handle internal cable routing and offers better BB adjustment. The frame features an EBB30 based on a 54x68mm bottom bracket shell, which is based on the Bushnell BB standard with more throw. The RIDEWORKS EBB54 is a clean solution that allows both brake and gear cables to be run over or under the BB shell.
Our Eccentric Bottom Bracket shell fits the "Bushnell EBB standard" where it all started using a Tandem 54x68mm Shell. We worked with Rideworks in the UK, to developed and perfect their existing Pressfit EBB. Initially the idea of using the Eccentric BB. was to provide enough room for cable maintenance, however this gave us some other benefits, geometry adjustment and chain tensioning.
If Tomac had access to a bike like The Ginger Fox with its 29" wheels and modern features, NORBA would have been on fire! So why wait? The Ginger Fox - the smart and fast 29er bike that is built for speed and performance.

With the use of an eccentric bottom bracket, such as the one we have implemented, we were able to create more space for mechanics to run everything internally, including Di2, mechanical, and hydraulic. This not only improves the bike's performance and durability but also simplifies maintenance and reduces the risk of cable damage or failure.
This Eccentric BB provides enough room for cable maintenance, which is essential for both internal and external cable routing. This enables easy cable routing and maintenance, leading to better performance and reliability of the bike. The Eccentric BB provides chain tension, which is crucial in single-speed and Rohloff Speedhub bikes.
